About Me

Kiranmai profile

KIRANMAI MANDALI

I design the systems that make data trustworthy, and the intelligent tools that help people work smarter. With 6+ years in enterprise data modeling, governance, and product ownership, I build scalable solutions that bridge business needs and technical execution.

I’m especially passionate about the practical side of AI: researching how agents, tools, and intelligent workflows can reduce repetitive work, sharpen decision-making, and modernize operations that are still heavily manual. I’ve been actively building AI-powered internal tools that help teams move faster, cut human error, and focus on high-value work.

I bring technical curiosity, systems thinking, and collaborative energy, and I’m excited by opportunities to keep building forward-looking solutions at the intersection of data, product, and innovation.

Database Services MASS

This is an enterprise database naming standards platform that validates proposed fields and entity names against configurable rules for systems like PolicyCenter, PostgreSQL, and DB2. It provides fuzzy search to find existing similar names in data dictionaries, preventing duplicates and ensuring consistency. The tool supports bulk validation and uploads and integrates with data element naming utility for standardized token abbreviation mappings. It's built as a FastAPI web portable backed by a Python validation engine library, targeting data architects and database engineers who need to enforce naming governance at scale.

Story2DB

This application parses SharePoint work intake requets exports and programmatically transforms structured request metadata into separated value conforming to database revision schemas, as well as template-driven agile story artifacts. It leverages a Python HTTP server with Excel COM automation for data refresh, client-sided XLSX parsing and a configurable template engine. Automating the data normalization pipeline from intake ingestion to tracking-system ready output.

ApplyMate

This tool is a Python + Playwright automation bot that helps users apply to jobs by auto-filling forms, uploading resumes, and navigating application pages. It supports platforms like LinkedIn, Greenhouse, and Workday using a configurable user profile. The bot is designed safely with a “review mode” that pauses before submission so users can verify applications manually. Some sites may still require human input due to CAPTCHAs, anti-bot checks, or custom application questions.

Rush for Relational Riches: The Gold Prospecting Challenge

Co-Facilitator & Workshop Lead

At the Data Modeling Zone Conference, I co-led and facilitated this hands-on workshop focused on designing a scalable logical data model for a fictional mining and prospecting enterprise, covering complex domains including land ownership, mineral assay reporting, extraction and refining processes, regulatory compliance, and partner compensation structures.

Participants applied enterprise data modeling techniques to perform requirement analysis, identify business entities and relationships, define data domains, and model operational workflows. The workshop also explored how Generative AI and modern data modeling tools can accelerate model development, improve requirement interpretation, and support collaborative design practices.

Through this real-world simulation, attendees gained practical experience building normalized, business-aligned logical models while evaluating design tradeoffs, data integrity considerations, and cross-functional data relationships.
